I got it in my head sometime last year that I wanted to start writing fiction. Becoming a storyteller—It’s my new obsession. I have noticed a pattern in most all of my life’s obsessions. It starts with a vague idea that I could do something—a skill, a sport, a job, anything. Often, it is something I’ve never tried before and there is no logical reasoning for my new compulsion. It comes from nowhere. I just start getting the urge. TO DO IT.
