2 Lessons in Disney User Experience


I probably like Disney more as an adult than I did as a child. I only went to Disneyworld once as a kid—I think I was around 13. Recently, I’ve been making more trips to Florida to take a break from real world problems and embrace that inner kid.

Disneyworld is a great place to to that. It’s also a great place to go if you are a user experience designer. I can’t think of many places where they have put as much thought, energy and money into creating a purposeful and controlled user experience as on a Disney property. Creating memorable, fun and safe experiences is in their DNA as a company.
